Privacy Policy for Captain Ace

Who we are

Captain Ace is a learning app for young children, developed and published by GenXcript, a web and app development studio based in the Philippines. This policy covers the Captain Ace mobile app on Google Play and, when released, the Apple App Store, as well as the browser version at captain-ace-app.genxcript.website.

Information we collect

We collect nothing. The app never asks for and never receives:

• Names, nicknames, ages, birthdays or photographs
• Email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses
• Location data of any kind
• Contacts, calendar entries, files or photos on the device
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs or usage analytics
• Voice recordings, camera images or microphone input

The app has no login screen, no registration, no profile and no way for a child to type personal information into it.

How your child's progress is stored

Captain Ace remembers things like which levels have been finished and which stars have been earned. That progress is written to private storage on your own device and never leaves it. We cannot see it, and no server ever receives it.

Deleting the app removes all of it permanently. There is nothing to request, export or ask us to erase, because we never hold a copy.

Device backup

In the interest of being complete: Android offers its own system-level backup, and if it is switched on for your device, your child's saved progress may be included in the backup your phone or tablet makes to your own Google account. That is a feature of Android, controlled entirely by you in your device settings, and GenXcript has no access to it. It exists so progress can be restored if the app is reinstalled.

No advertising, no analytics, no third parties

Captain Ace contains no advertisements of any kind, no real money spending and no paid content. The in-game shop is bought with stars earned by playing. It includes no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no advertising or marketing software.

The installed app makes no network requests at all. Every image, sound, voice clip and font is bundled inside the app itself, so it is fully playable with the device offline or in airplane mode. Nothing is fetched from us or from anyone else while your child plays, and nothing is sent back.

There is also a browser version of the game at captain-ace-app.genxcript.website. Being a website, it works the way any website does: the pages and game files are served from our hosting provider, Vercel, which like every web server keeps short-lived technical logs of requests that can include the IP address and browser type. We do not use those logs to identify, track or profile anyone, and the game itself still sends us nothing about your child or their play. If you would rather avoid this entirely, use the installed app, which is fully offline.

No links out of the app

There are no links, buttons or menus that take a child to a website, a social network, an app store or any other app. There is nowhere in Captain Ace for a child to leave the app or reach outside content, so there is nothing a child can wander into unsupervised.

Permissions the app requests

Captain Ace requests only standard internet access, which is a technical requirement of the framework the app is built with. It is not used to send us any information. The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, storage or advertising identifier.

Children's privacy

Captain Ace is made deliberately for children, and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families Policy and Apple's Kids Category requirements.

Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect no personal information from children. We do not knowingly gather data from a child under 13, we have no mechanism that could do so, and we never share, sell or disclose information about a child to anyone, for the simple reason that we do not have any.

Changes to this policy

If Captain Ace ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before that version of the app is released. Any change that involved collecting information would be stated here plainly and in advance.
